Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 66, the oldest Pack in Naperville, IL.  As we celebrate our 70th year, we look to the past with pride and to the future with anticipation of another great year in scouting!

This site is the primary information source for Pack and Den announcements.  As a registered member you will receive weekly "E-Blasts", announcing new events, event registration, and new policies.  The provided information may be specific to your Scout's den, Pack 66, Three Fires Council, or Thunderbird District. New parents must register for an account.

Together we can make Scouting a successful, enriching, and fun adventure!

Maple Syruping at Naperville Settlement

Posted on Mar 2 2017 - 3:56pm

Calling all Maple Syrup fans! Naper Settlement is having a Spring Fever Maple Sugaring event on Sunday, March 12th from 1-4pm. Scouts will become a history detective and complete one of the scavenger hunts, enjoy hands-on activities and learn about pioneers and Native Americans. Scouts will also receive a Naper Settlement patch to take home. Full cost admission is $13 per Scout and $10 per adult, however, the pack will cover part of the scouts cost, making it $5 per Scout instead of $13 (additional guests/siblings are welcome but would be full cost). Please note, Naperville residents do not receive free admission to the Scout Program.

Pack Hikes

Posted on Feb 26 2017 - 3:24pm

Next week we will be having 2 pack "hikes"

1) Next Sunday 3/5 we will be having a pack hike at Knoch Knolls.

There is a park district event themed "Wild weather".  We will start with this event and then head out for a hike from there.  The park district event is self guided and begins at 12:30 in the River room. Since it's self guided you can arrive whenever you would like.

Scouting for Food

Posted on Feb 15 2017 - 9:47pm
How Scouting for Food Works:
  • On the first date, we visit houses in the neighborhood to distribute information about the upcoming food drive (door hanger will be supplied, no doorbell ringing)
  • On the second date, we visit the same houses to collect all of the food donations our neighbors leave outside
  • The donations are delivered to Loaves & Fishes, I or any other volunteer can choose to drop them off.

As dens you may already be planning on participating in this event, but for those of you who don't have plans yet and would like to participate as a pack please read on. This Saturday February 18 we will be hanging flyers on the doors in my neighborhood from 2:00-3:00 pm. Then the following Saturday February 25 we will collect the food from the doorsteps from 2:00-3:00 pm. Please let me know if you are interested in participating to make sure I have enough supplies for everyone.
